古流・極真空手とは

IBMA極真会館 増田道場では、極真空手の創始者である大山倍達師範が著した『秘伝・極真空手』や『続・秘伝極真空手』に記された空手の型や理念を、「古伝・極真空手」と位置づけています。
また、増田師範はこの古伝・極真空手をもとに、その技術や精神を研究・再現・応用する取り組みを「古流・極真空手」と名づけ、それを自身が提唱する「拓心武道」の一部として取り入れ、再構築しています。
At the IBMA Kyokushin Kaikan Masuda Dojo, we regard the karate forms and principles described in “Hiden Kyokushin Karate” and “Zoku Hiden Kyokushin Karate” written by Master Masutatsu Oyama, the founder of Kyokushin Karate, as “Koden Kyokushin Karate.”
Master Masuda has also named his efforts to study, reproduce, and apply the techniques and spirit of Koden Kyokushin Karate “Koryu Kyokushin Karate,” and has incorporated and reconstructed it as part of his own “Takushin Budo.”
