ここ１ヶ月間半ほど、そして、ここ１週間、狂ったようだった。自分でクリスマスまでと決めていた。制作は難航した。編集スキルが貧困だからだ。それでも残さなければならないと必死だった。
結果、５０点。普通の人は、もっと準備をしてから、だとか。もう少し丁寧に、だとか思うに違いない。だが、そんなことをしていたら機会はなくなる。また、万人に理解されなくとも、目的を明確にして進んでいけば、必ず本当に必要な協力者、友に出会うものだ。人生はそんなものだ、と直感している。待つ者に、友は現れない。
１ヶ月前に認めた、構想論文から一部抜粋をいかに掲載しておく。実は１週間前に加筆した部分だ。恩師である、浜井識安先生の訃報を効いてから閃き、加筆した部分だ。これで構想の中心を意識することができた。これは、私が直感する、もののふ（武士）の精神だ。そして、日本人の魂だと直感している。
礼の精神（SPIRITS OF REI）
もう一つ、FIHA競技の独自理念について述べておきたい。ヒッティングは、武術が想定する情況に思いを馳せる。だが、相手を殺傷して勝 つことを目的とするものではない。いうまでもなく、スポーツは人間を人間以下のものとして認知し、殺傷する戦いの訓練ではないからだ。しかしながら、新しい格闘競技としてのヒッティング・スポーツは、武術が想定する戦いを原点としながら、その状況下でいかに自己の精神を律し、気高さを保つことを目指す手段としたい。ゆえに、ヒッティング競技においては、勝負を決した後は、「ノーサイド」とする。但し、これはラグビー・フットボールの理念を表す言葉でもある。FIHA競技においても、ラグビーフットボールと同様、試合後は「ノーサイド」としたい。その上で、試合直後は、「礼（REI）」の作法を実践すること義務づけたい。その「礼（REI）」の形態は、古代日本における日本武士が行った「日本式の礼法」に倣っている。但し、私は、「礼」の意味、形態に、さまざま、あることを知っている。だが、FIHAにおける「礼」は、人間が踏み行うべき道徳観念の中でも最も普遍的な、生命の尊厳と個人の名誉を護るという意味（心）を、所作によって表すということだ。
さらに述べれば、その「礼の精神（SPIRITS OF REI）」を顕現させるため、FIHA競技があると言っても過言ではない。要するに、相手と高いレベルのスキルを競い合い自己の戦いのスキルを向上させる。そのこと同時に相手の戦いのスキルレベルを高める。その相互浸透的な思想の交換と高次化を目指すことがFIHA競技の核にある理念である。
以上のような精神、すなわち理念の具現化を可能とする競技ルールをFIHA（国際ヒッティング協会・連盟）」では共有する。また、その理念を具現化する競技者が増えれば、特殊な格闘競技が、より高い意義と社会的価値を持った競技、そしてスポーツと広く認識されるに違いない。
補足すれば、私が構想するFIHA（国際ヒッティング・スポーツ協会・連盟）の普及する競技は、戦うための身体的スキルと戦術的スキルへの評価をより普遍的な価値観に照らして判断しなけれならない。その点で、現在の極真空手の競技法は、普遍的な価値観に沿っていない。私は、既存の極真空手や現代武道を補完するためにも、まずは地域的な国際ヒッティング協会（IHA）を設立したい。具体的には、極真空手の伝統的なジャッジ方法とは異なる、スポーツ的な新しいジャッジ方法を設定し、それを普及する。
さらに格闘競技は、戦う方法が自由になればなるほど、暴力性を喚起させる可能性がある。だが、個々の競技者がその暴力性をコントロールすることにより、その行為が崇高になると考えている。そして、その崇高さが顕現する可能性は、戦いにおいて恐怖心が高まれば高まるほど増すだろう。そこに格闘技スポーツの価値があると思っている。
私は、個対個の激しい戦いにおいて、「礼の精神（SPIRITS OF REI」を内発的に実践しようとする境地が「人間の崇高さ」が顕現する地平である。その地平を開拓すれば、格闘技の社会的価値がより高まると予想する。
さらに述べれば、個々人が戦いにおいて、恐怖心と対峙し、それを勇敢に乗り越えようとした時、競技者の内面は真剣さを増し、かつ誠実になると考えている。その真剣さと誠実さ、自制心と勇気が、最高レベルのスキルを発揮するための精神（理性）となる。同時に崇高な精神となるのだ。また、競技において自己を極限状態に置くことで、競技者をその内面と対峙させ、理性の高みを直観する機会とするのだ。以上のような理念が具現化されれば、その戦いに感動が生まれるのは必然である。一方、相手に勝つために、自制心を喪失し、動物のように戦う競技者には、一種の嫌悪感すら生まれるだろう。もちろん、状況においては本能的、かつ動物のように戦うことが必要だと思う。また、究極的に考えれば、動物のように本能的に戦うことに問題はないのかもしれない。しかしながら、極限的な状況下においても、決して人間性を喪失しないよう理性の力を発揮し、人間としての崇高さを発揮することを目指すことは必要だと思う。もし、そのような崇高さを発揮できたなら、たとえ死んだとしても、自己の矜持を失わない生き方となると考えている。
私は、この人間としての崇高さを競技者の内部から内発的に顕現させることを競技の究極的な目標とする。そして、未だ消滅しない、人間同士の殺戮、戦争という行為を無くすという、理想・理念の実現を目指したい。そして、その理想の追求が、暴力的な格闘競技を高次化し、より多くの人に共感を与えることとなると思っている。さらに私は、この人間理性の崇高さの発揮と醸成をFIHA（国際ヒッティング・スポーツ協会・連盟)の理念と目的として活動したい。また、そのような理念と目的で行われる、格闘競技を新しい打撃技主体の格闘技スポーツ、すなわちヒッティング・スポーツとして、確立するのだ。

7) SPIRITS OF REI

However, “rei” in FIHA means expressing through one’s actions the meaning (heart) of protecting the dignity of life and personal honor, which is the most universal moral concept that humans should follow.
In other words, the “spirit of courtesy” in FIHA competitions is “a spirit that expresses the act of protecting the honor and dignity of life of the enemy that one has stolen, as well as the act of protecting one’s own honor and dignity of life.” It’s safe to say that it is. This spirit is not an imposed value system such as loyalty and filial piety from the ruler in the master-servant relationship in the feudal system, but a sense of valuing the ultimate “dignity” and “honour” that are inherent in each individual samurai. is based on. Furthermore, I believe that when individuals face their fears in battle and bravely try to overcome them, their inner feelings become more serious and sincere. Their seriousness, sincerity, self-control, and courage become the spirit (reason) that allows them to demonstrate their skills at the highest level. At the same time, it becomes a noble spirit. In addition, by putting themselves in extreme conditions during competitions, they are forced to confront their inner selves, giving them an opportunity to intuit the heights of their rationality. If the above philosophy is realized, it is inevitable that the battle will be moving. On the other hand, a competitor who loses self-control and fights like an animal in order to defeat his opponent may even create a kind of disgust. Of course, I think it is necessary to fight instinctively and like an animal in certain situations. Also, if you think about it ultimately, there may be no problem with fighting instinctively like animals. However, even under extreme circumstances, I think it is necessary to exercise the power of reason and aim to demonstrate the nobility of humanity so as not to lose our humanity. I believe that if one were able to demonstrate such nobility, one would live a life that would not lose one’s self-respect, even if one dies.
I make it the ultimate goal of the competition to make this sublimity as a human being manifest internally from within the competitors.
